The Tree Climber at ArborMed is responsible for safely performing tree pruning, removals, and emergency response work on residential and commercial properties. This role works hands-on in the field using climbing and rigging techniques to execute jobs efficiently while maintaining the highest safety standards. It’s a critical position for experienced climbers who take pride in precision, teamwork, and professional-grade workmanship.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be part of ArborMed’s production team — executing safe, efficient, and professional tree work on residential and commercial properties.
Perform tree climbing, pruning, removals, and rigging operations
Safely operate climbing gear, ropes, saddles, and chainsaws aloft
Assist with emergency and storm-response tree work when needed
Follow job plans and safety protocols on every site
Work closely with ground crew to ensure clean, efficient job completion
Maintain equipment and report any safety or maintenance issues
What We’re Looking For

Prior tree climbing experience (ISA or TCIA required)
Strong understanding of rigging, cutting techniques, and safety standards
Physically capable of demanding outdoor work in varying conditions
Team-oriented with clear communication skills
